Special Olympics is currently serving 5 million athletes worldwide -- changing lives on and off the field through sport. But there are still millions of people out there waiting for their chance to get in the game.
Join our team and help us make sure everyone has the chance to become a champion.
The Special Olympics mission remains as vital today as it did when the movement was founded in 1968. Special Olympics provides year-round sports training and athletic competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports for children and adults with intellectual disabilities, giving them continuing opportunities to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, experience joy and participate in a sharing of gifts, skills and friendship with their families, other Special Olympics athletes and the community.
